For our first week tackling this english project, we worked on planning and scheduling. Scheduling is definitely our hardest part to figure out, but I think we got the basics down. We have discussed the days we need to meet up and what we need to accomplish that day to stay on track with our progression.
First we went to the Bermuda Run golf course to see if we liked the idea of golf and to see where we all started at. We had some doubts and by the second time we met up, we were discussing different project ideas. We then came to the conclusion that golf was the best way to accomplish a goal that all of us shared in common, which is to improve on anything to do with golf. Some of us were better at it than others, but all of us still have room to improve. As a group, we were struggling with planning when and where we were going to meet up. The first time we met to play we didn't go in with a strategy on how we're going to track our improvement over the weeks. We thought it would be a good idea to meet up a second time within the first week to really understand the scheduling needed to make this project work. We changed our approach to how we were going to track our improvement, which was by going to practice our swings and hits at a driving range instead of going straight into golfing on a course. We liked the idea of our first week being a starting point at showing all of our fresh capabilities and to show how much we know about golf at the very beginning. For our second week we plan to find a designated day in which we play golf, and have goals set for each time we play to accomplish everything we want each time we meet up in order to accurately show our progression.
